چکیده
Microthermometry is a widespread method of determining the chloride concentrations of saline fluid inclusions and remains the most reliable method for converting quantitative cation analyses (e.g. from LA–ICP–MS experiments) into absolute concentrations. For most saline fluids solute concentrations have been calculated as an equivalent weight percentage of NaC on the basis of phase transition temperatures in the model H2O–NaCl system. Microthermometric analysis of a set of synthetic NaCl-rich fluid inclusions, each containing a variety of minor cations, has shown that chloride concentrations calculated from the model H2O–NaCl system are probably valid for most saline fluids. Uncertainties in this procedure are probably insignificant compared with the analytical errors attached to most single fluid-inclusion microanalytical techniques.

This article engages with debates about the conceptualisation and practical challenges of patient and public involvement (PPI) in health and social care services. Policy in this area in England has shifted numerous times but increasingly a consumerist discourse seems to override more democratic ideas concerning the relationship between citizens and public services. متن کاملEmployee Engagement within the NHS: A Cross-Sectional Study
Background Employee engagement is the emotional commitment of the employee towards the organisation. We aimed to analyse baseline work engagement using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) at a teaching hospital. Methods We have conducted a cross-sectional study within the National Health Service (NHS) Teaching Hospital in the UK. All participants were working age population from both genders...
متن کاملthe Benefication Studies of Garnet Deposits From Kohe-E-Garbi Area of Iran (TECHNICAL NOTE)
The occurrences of huge reserves of garnet deposits have been reported from different parts of Iran specially those of Kohe-E-Gabri area which is very high grade in nature. These deposits can not be directly used as abrasives, filter aid and many others because of some impurities present. To know the mineralogical composition, the type of garnet, the shape of the particles, the chemical charact...
متن کاملStudy of Sedimentology, Morphoscopy and Heavy Mineral Deposits in Jajrud River
In this research we aimed to study the sedimentology of Jajrud River, upstream from Latian Dam. Initially, a field review was conducted to ascertain complete familiarity with the geographical and geological conditions of the proposed region. After determining the sampling location, the acquired samples were taken to the laboratory. From morphoscopic studies of the sediments, we have determ...
متن کاملLITHOTHEQUE knowledge system about world-s mineral deposits supported by miniaturized sample sets: call for international adoption, networking and exchange
Our civilization is based on metals, among other life supports. The existing ore deposits are becoming rapidly depleted by almost exponentially increasing demand and production and major new ore discoveries are needed. Mineral exploration is supported by modern tools and scientific ideas, but geological characteristics of orebodies and their rock associations have still to be visualized. The tim...
